Why ETS always puts "hardly" in the wrong place
Most students confuse 'hard' and 'hardly' — and ETS knows it. 'Hardly' means 'scarcely / almost not'. The correct adverb for effort is 'hard'. This trap appears in nearly every TOEIC exam.

The "since vs for" trap ETS uses every single exam
In 10 years of exams, I have never seen a paper without this question. 'Since' marks a specific point in time (since 2020). 'For' marks a duration (for three years). Master this in 60 seconds.
